Facebook has now opened up the ability to use Messenger as a placement for website click advertisements to all advertisers globally – allowing advertisers to reach their target audiences whilst they are active and engaged on the Messenger platform.
With more than 1.2 billion people using Messenger monthly, it is an opportunity to grow your reach and connect more closely with your customers. The platform will appear as another placement choice when businesses create an advertisement on Facebook.
As with all other website click advertisements, the new placement will allow you to choose where the customer is directed once they have engaged, an opportunity for you to direct traffic to a landing page or open up a new Messenger conversation.
