The brand’s marketing team will ‘select the most dramatic and poignant stories to be part of a physical wall Red Wing is building at its flagship store on Main Street in Red Wing, Minn’.
The campaign will also be taken digital, with a virtual Wall of Honor displayed on the company’s home page. Most importantly, the Wall of Honor will let Red Wing Shoes’s customers do the talking, creating a heartfelt and resonant narrative for fellow customers and potential customers, alike.
Red Wing’s campaign is a perfect example of where to use Facebook Linked Groups to foster brand conversations in online communities. User-generated content is also a valuable asset for this campaign, as customer stories are a genuine way to prove the quality of the company’s shoes.
